For corporate accounts I would recommend our services – for an individual – I recommend Klout:
Klout has emerged as a leader in Social influence tracking – but is it effective?
Klout is the standard for influence. Over 5,000 applications and partners use Klout data to display Klout Scores, prioritize based on Score or topics, and segment users. Klout is not an “opt-in” service, but individuals who register at Klout can ensure that all of their social networks are accessed and therefore evaluated in their Klout scores. Klout also builds profiles of individuals who are connected to those who do register at Klout. Klout is a tool that measures social influence across the web. The higher the Klout score, the higher the social influence.
Klout is a great way to benchmark how effective someone really is. Klout is a marketplace of influence. It attempts to summarize what subjects a person has influence in, or is interested in, across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social networks . Klout is headed in good direction, but for the time being, they aren’t good reference for “influence”.
True Reach and Amplification:
True Reach is the size of your engaged audience and is based on those of your followers and friends who actively listen and react to your messages. Amplification Score is the likelihood that your messages will generate actions (retweets, @messages, likes and comments) and is on a scale of 1 to 100. True Reach aims to answer the question of whose audience is really engaged, and who just followed a bunch of spam accounts. Klout actually eliminates inactive and spam accounts from their algorithm and looks at how the rest of your audience reacts to content that you share in your Twitter and Facebook feeds.
